Maybe it's not a math error. Maybe this one is from the future where one bitcoin is - $8000 ( minus eight K USD ).
So if you own 1 bitcoin you're actually in debt with a negative balance. Perfectly reasonable considering an average newborn is in the states is around -70 000 $ in debt the moment it is born (due to national debt). So if someone left the newborn 8.8 bitcoin it would suffer the same ammount of debt at those bitcoin prices as it would from bad government financial decisions.
No I just pointed out that the price of bitcoin would have to go to -8000 for it to be as remotely bad of a financial instrument as the government is an authoritarian organization handling the financial instruments. And this is given the fact that the newborn has 8.8 bitcoins. If it has the ammount it deserves by lets say a cosmic sense of righteousness (equal among all) - 21000000 / 7500000000 = 0.0028, then 0.0028 btc would have to ammount to -70000. So in other words in order for BTC to be as bad of a thing as the FED it would have to go to (-70000 / 0.0028 = -25000000) -$25M. Minus 25 million bucks for 1 bitcoin. That's how the government looks in perspective.
> During bitcoin's epic breakout year in 2017, it soared to $19,783.21. This week, it's been trading just under $3,500, a 140 percent plunge from its all-time high.
140%?? It's only 82%..

Its appears out of embarrassment, Stephanie Landsman producer, CNBC "Fast Money " has corrected the 140% value to 83%. She thanks you for the correction ;)
Of course anyone reading the article prior (and news outlets use of copy pasta) will still be incorrect, damage far reaching. What ever happened to reporters having someone fact check? My daughter in high school is looking for a part-time job, do you guys think this would be good experience?
Was watching the superbowl with my in-laws when we saw a commercial for the network it was on... "CBS.... REAL NEWS!" was how they ended it. We all looked at each other and just started cracking up. Funniest part of the sb commercials this year... Saddest part was either that shitty whopper, or the "supra" with a bmw engine and no standard transmission.

2020 shelby gt500 is auto only too, they use to be manual only since the start.
To be fair my buddy works for toyota and he said emission standards are too strict when I asked why they couldn't just restart production of the 2jzgte. My next question was "Then why even badge it as a supra?" He didn't have an answer for that one haha.
