@MattCorva@AndoniOlta Maybe not so lost. "Representatives for Bitfinex and Tether told the AG’s office that a Bitfinex official was told the reason the $851 million couldn’t be access was because Portuguese, Polish and American government officials had 'seized' the funds." https://t.co/7klx2ZEWbf
Back in December 2017 when the rumours first started circulating about Bitfinex and Tether, almost certainly yes. However, in my opinion, probably not now. Back then, Tether was pretty much the only stablecoin in town, and so played a critical role in the cryptosphere, but now there are plenty of alternative stablecoins out there, so this is no longer the case. Both will most likely just fade away (and that's only if the case against them is found to have merit). But, then again, what do I know! 🙂
Wtf is wrong with these people. Why is an ethtrader reddit having 1000000000000 posts about some stupid city AG or bitfinex token that’s not even a ERC20?
Just ignore the troll city which has been trying so hard to kill cryptocurrency. Move on without that poor AF city wanting to steal from the crypto community. We can just ignore them. Especially if we’re operating outside the city. The city can’t kidnap all of us if all of us just ignored it.
Because the price went up too much, too fast.
Those who caught the bottom needed an indication that the market would rise and flip to bull. They got it.
So theyre coordinating social media to cause a panic so that they can back up the trucks.
