RT @notgrubles: When it's impossible to run an archival node, people rely on centralized services that can easily be shutdown or otherwise censored. Now 1.4 billion people can't search through Ethereum transaction history.
I’m stunned as to how they believe this will solve their “problem”. There’s no issues running a node in China, and nearly anyone can setup a block explorer with ease now-a-days. This will merely force internalization of more than one copy cat now. Great idea China...
China is definitely focused on centralizing the entire blockchain as it has done with its citizens throughout its communism ... Hopefully the rest of the Asian countries and the world do not follow their example and see blocked explorers not only of ETH, but of tokens like Matic , FLETA, Harmony, Loom, etc
I was reading demographic statistics the other night (because why not) and look at this.
43.5% of Nigeria is 14 years old or less!!! Getting that entire generation to invest in crypto assets at this age would be HUGE both nationally and also in the world sense.
