Not a joke, Tezos is LPOS, but still needs some processing power and memory (8gb+) to bake. In fact it makes more sense to buy this machine for POS coins where it will actually work nicely rather than POW coins where you'd just be wasting money and electricity!
2019 = Year of the POS
So how does this work? For pow it offers a certain amount of mh/s which probably is not much and not worth it. But how does it work for Tezos? I guess you already need some XTZ in order to bake with this device?
So this thing does solo baking for you? How, seems it already has a GUI like many here wanted. It looks so damn sexy gosh, can anyone tell me if it is tech friendly like any security measurements, how easy is it to use? Damn this is the way for average joe to get into baking.
there's no way I can personally see average joe or most other folks paying $799 for this, specifically when you can build an awesome baking computer for like $300-$400. In fact if somebody only wants to bake XTZ this machine is not necessary because you do not require a GPU like that. So I think it only makes sense to those who want to mine PoW as well. On top of that *Average Power Usage: 120 Watts* is so energy hungry that it's a complete deal-breaker to me. But to each his own of course. Certainly there will be people who are interested either way. I absolutely appreciate their support for XTZ even if it doesn't seem to be the right hardware for it.
Average joe is actually damn poor, if they cant buy this they wouldnt buy for 400 either. It is actually for a higher economic class than the average joe actually and there are still tens of millions in this camp.
