Hi sainathaddweb. Your submission from nytimes.com is behind a metered paywall. A metered paywall allows users to view a specific number of articles before requiring paid subscription. Articles posted to /r/worldnews should be accessible to everyone. While your submission was not removed, it has been flaired and users are discouraged from upvoting it or commenting on it. For more information see our wiki page on paywalls. Please try to find another source. If there is no other news site reporting on the story, contact the moderators.
If you add a . After the .com (.com./) it bypasses the paywall. Also most coronavirus outbreak news posted by the NYT will be free but you have to have an account so if you don’t want to make an account you can use the (.com./) roundabout.
Not justifying what they are doing. Fuck NYT but there are easy was around it.
I get their daily briefing by email for free. Of course it's full of clickbait trying to get me to subscribe, but whatever. I sent them a scathing feedback email yesterday because they referred to themselves as "The Times." No reply.
