I recently created a new decentralized p2p ledger that has SHA3 PoW. As of now, it seems it is only being CPU mined. It is only 2 weeks old! See the link for installation and mining instructions. Note that you can specify a number of miner threads to match your number of cores with -numminers <number of cores>

For a long time I thought about rewriting bitcoin to be as simple as possible. Just recently I had some time and was able to attempt it. I think that's what I've created with cruzbit.

At the moment it's being CPU mined and there isn't much hash power on the network yet. It's not even 2 weeks old. No premine or any of that funny business. It's SHA3 PoW. The memo field of the genesis block is also timestamped with the bitcoin blockchain's tip block hash at the time of the genesis block's creation.
Just trying to get the word out and would appreciate new miners.
