how'd you get into crypto?

Kartik Mandaville
@soonaorlater I had built an exchange in 2013 for USD to BTC and that was my first foray into the crypto world. I remember going to a conference in Vegas in Dec'13 - the who's who of the crypto world was speaking there. The crypto air engulfed me and the rest is history!

In what ways can a rewards-based platform like Springrole add value to professional networks that existing platforms are unable to?
0
Kartik Mandaville
@LazAlberto Existing platforms like LinkedIn are not verified - on the other hand, whatever you write on SpringRole is going to be rigorously verified. The implications of this are far-reaching: expanding the idea of what is trusted and verified, employers can hire more effectively, streamline teams, increase productivity and even increase wages.

@bentossell build something rather than just trading. And not everything is a good fit for decentralization - sometimes centralized dbs work much better.

@Romane-Geraci A world where trust is built in - you can trust what you read online. A world where an employer can hire someone on the other side of the planet without questioning their capabilities.

Why do you think we need a decentralized system for what you want to accomplish?

Kartik Mandaville
@sarthakgh to have trustworthy verifications, it should not be dependent on any one entity and should be on an immutable database so there's no way to go back.
