RT @EnigmaMPC: NEW: The Enigma and @Chainlink teams are happy to announce a new collaboration and integration, maximizing the combined and independent power of Enigma’s secure computation protocol and Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network. Learn more on our blog! https://t.co/KE5D7kw32l
This feels rather major! Chainlink exploded and Enigma is a month away from their main release date and will greatly expand upon what Chainlink has started to offer the next wave of blockchain development.
That's absolutely what every other shitcoin bagholder tells themselves and others, and it's hilarious.
POWERFUL sell signal, thank you for confirming I made the right choice. Charts are painting a cataclysmic down trend too..
Yet you're bothering to spread fud in it's subreddit. If it's such a powerful sell signal what're you still doing here?
Trying to be a saint and saving someone a few bucks is it? Color me skeptical.
It still may be a bandaid solution, but Enigma chose to use it because Chainlink is a viable solution today.
It's equivalent to people in the crypto space building decentralized Web 3.0 applications who use centralized Web 2.0 applications like Twitter and Youtube to communicate and market their technology, because the Web 3.0 equivalent of Twitter/Youtube is not ready yet. Or Bitcoin Maximalist who believe in censorship resistant money but use Coinbase/Binance, because its the best we have today and DEX's are not ready yet.
Chainlink bridges the Web 2.0 world to the Web 3.0 world. But eventually Web 3.0 development will have native oracle support built in with WASM.
The CEO of any project is entitled to speak his mind publicly however or whenever he feels. He's also entitled to change his mind. I'm sure Chainlink's feelings about Enigma's protocol and approach have changed over time as well 🙂
There's far more to gain right now from collaboration than not. We have two of the most serious and talented technical teams looking to work together on building real solutions - and that's exciting!
It's worth reading the whole blog post if you haven't yet
Come on, it was over a year ago. Companies and tech are moves fast. The blog post lays out the terms of the collaboration and integrations that they are exploring. There's a lot of synergies between both.
Secret contracts and how they relate to public chains is still a bit too far ahead of most enterprises focused on private chains. With this collaboration, my guess is that we will see more tools that will enable these enterprises to derive value from public chains.
As projects, Enigma and Chainlink share many commonalities, including strong technical teams, focuses around solving privacy and scalability, and a collaborative mindset. By enabling connection between the two networks, novel solutions can emerge to some of the biggest problems facing the blockchain space, particularly privacy, scalability, and external connection. This will open up new product offerings in areas like decentralized finance (DeFi), as well as solutions for traditional industries, such as in credit, healthcare, machine learning, global trade, and many more.
To date, Enigma and Chainlink are already working together as members of larger industry-wide initiatives and alliances. Both projects are contributors to the Trusted Compute Framework (TCF) working group inside the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. In addition, both Enigma and Chainlink are recognized as “best-in-class” protocols within Outlier Ventures’ Convergence Stack, a collection of open-source technologies that promise to revolutionize the way data is used, consumed, and protected. This collaboration will allow us to expand upon these ongoing efforts and create new value for both ecosystems and communities.
