Sounds like there could've been a little bit of a language barrier issue there; some languages do not natively have blame attribution, so trying to reword things to imply blame might've thrown him off perhaps?
edit: How does it work in Chinese, when they say something happened, do they either implicitly or explicitly point towards who was responsible for it, or do they just state the event took place?
He clearly is feeling threatened in this conversation. Accusing him of calling someone a liar is different from stating something that contradicts another person's words. Touching him so much and pulling him in like that could feel even more aggressive. This is a really unfair way to have a conversation, even though it's incidental. When people see this, even though they may be wrong in their opinion or actions, they don't want to debate or engage. In your newer videos you come off much more approachable than in this one.
