Could Ethereum not themselves implement the use of Oracles if it is a better way of managing smart contracts? I am not sure why this Ethereum copy makes any sense given the adoption of it's Blockchain and additional progress that will be made before this Blockchain even launches... Am I missing something?
He spends the whole article establishing his bonafides as someone connected with Ethereum and then barely mentions the ICO of the Æternity thing he is selling. Æternity itself seems to be trying to make (yes/no) oracles part of the main protocol which is very interesting and would certainly make writing smart contracts simpler but I'm not entirely sure it makes sense to make it part of the consensous mechanism..... probably worth reading the white paper in a bit more detail.
