The company that makes the app/blockchain is a dick
The app's security is shit
Most of the flaws disclosed there are in the app itself, which doesn't do anything blockchain-related at all and can't/won't even verify if voting data is actually recorded in the alleged blockchain
The researchers can't actually verify if the blockchain even exists because the only information they have is the word of the company making it
The alleged blockchain is allegedly distributed equally between Amazon and Microshaft servers, potentially allowing either party to perform a 51% attack by secretly increasing resources (assuming the alleged blockchain functions as an actual blockchain and isn't just a renamed database)
So unless I've misunderstood something, the app itself is shit and the blockchain is meaningless at best and possibly an additional vulnerability at worst?
