Iran using crypto because it has really big problems with their monetary and banking system. And they make it fully centralized, even special gov-based pool. I hope that their citizens think about privacy and use privacy wallets like wasabi and samourai. Or at least something like ownr with features like force address allocation

Over longer trends, yes. But in its current state you can buy at an unfortunate time and lose 20% in a month. There are people who bought in 2017 and still in the negative by a large margin. You're slowly losing money with fiat but the average person would prefer that over the volatility currently associated with Bitcoin. It simply won't be adopted until it reaches some stability. At the current time it stands as a great investment but a bad currency.

Also money is the most easy capital that a poor man can get, and if that capital lose value every day forget about investing in time. Meanwhile if the currency is deflationary you can invest time, like 2 years of saves to start a bussines.
