RT @spencernoon: 1/Someone who used to work in sports here 👋. Sorry but this is almost certainly a bad use of marketing spend for #Litecoin. Savvy CROs at teams like the Dolphins carve out ridiculous sponsorship categories all of the time if overzealous companies are willing to throw them money. https://t.co/uO1rs5TPR8
I don’t get it. What exactly is being promoted here? If I see Litecoin for first time because of the Miami Dolphins, what is my call to action? Sign up to Coinbase? Litecoin like most cryptos is currently useless. This advert essentially encourages folk to speculate on the unknown. I’d rather be reminded to buy a cheeseburger 🤷🏼♂️
Oh, you can use Litecoin at the concession stands now? Oh, you can't? It's just for buying 50/50 raffle tickets? And you can use Bitcoin for it to? Oh...
So basically Litecoin gave Ross a bunch of money to advertise their crypto in HardRock? Meanwhile you can't actually use the currency anywhere in Hardrock and their biggest competitor is given equal footing. Sounds like this is a real big move for Litecoin...
Cryptocurrency is the way of the future guys! So, uh, does anyone wanna buy some tulips?
You Americans always think in competitors. Bitcoin and Litecoin are not competitors. They are complementary (and has been since Litecoins inception). Litecoin has always been the silver to Bitcoins gold. A change to exchange quicker (faster block times).
Official currency sounds too good to be true, makes it sound like the Dolphins will be parading LTC logos everywhere. Probably more like essentially, ‘We prefer LTC over credit/debit. We pay less of a fee and we are able to offer a small discount as a result if you pay with LTC”
