It would be smart to take profit but keep the initial investment worth of bitcoin. Hence when it goes higher they can profit again and again and if it goes down they can buy back at lower prices. At these numbers (tens to hundreds of millions of USD) you can't really do much wrong.
So bitcoin is no different from the rest then? If that’s the case what’s the advantage of using bitcoin over fiat currency?? At least with cash it doesn’t fluctuate in your hand, imagine having a £10 note in your hand one minute and then next minute it’s either £5 or £15.. it’s not stable. I’m invested in it I’m just still trying to make sense how people realistically believe it’s the next currency. I’m open to being convinced.
As of September 30, 2020, **the average cost and average carrying value of MicroStrategy’s bitcoin were approximately $11,111 and $9,954, respectively.** As of October 26, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. EDT, MicroStrategy had 38,250 bitcoins and the market price of one bitcoin in the principal market was approximately $13,023.
I remember we were all making fun of Micro Strategy a couple of weeks ago when the price was in the 10k range. About having to explain to its shareholders and board members that they gambled on magic internet money and lost.
Now its probably going to go down in history as one of the best business decisions ever made
