With the high (€20/£20) fiat [deposit and withdrawal fees](https://www.binance.je/fees.html), I wonder if they're deliberately avoiding small investors.
I wonder if they're aiming themselves more for big institutional investors, because they see them coming soon.
It's Jersey - this is an island that's part of the British Isles but has "international identity separate from that of the UK" so it has its own tax laws. Sounds like Binance are slowly entering Europe while avoiding the slow EU lawmakers via Malta, Leichtenstein, and now Jersey.

Well, they're based in Jersey, and .je is Jersey's TLD. Binance is the name of the company. binance.je seems appropriate to me in this case, even if people are ignorant of the .je TLD (**not saying you are**, but you're assuming others will be).
Yeah I am assuming others will be. Especially no techies. I can name you a dozen companies based in Jersey that don't use .jy domain and that probably because it looks and sounds shit (and dodgy). Mainstream people need familiarity.
If Jersey's OWN tourist board don't use the .je domain, do you not think that speak volumes? I am trying to search for any global company that promotes their .je site ...... I won't hold my breath looking..
