Yeah I'm still on the fence about what this will ultimately mean for adoption but it certainly feels huge as an additional on ramp with a major service/platform. Crypto has always been weird though in the sense that things I thought would be major weren't and vice versa. Either way, it's certainly exciting to see PayPal seemingly doing more than dipping their toes in.
I think you're right about the importance of possibly having an easier on-ramp. For me the value is in brand awareness and validation. Imagine 300M people open their PayPal or Venmo app and see BTC & ETH logos.
