True but maybe its a mistake to compare reddit with kin. Comparation should be reddit vs kin ecosystem (apps: kik, rave, madlipz, etc) vs reddit. They are doing the same thing, earn and spend options with a token/digital coin.
Nowadays: moon tip its about 1 minut, while kin is around to less than 10 sec per transaction. Now looking to move to an other blockchain just to improve it more. Will be interesting if reddit reach any way to scale an etherum token to the same level as kin.
Maybe, but is curious... Kin was initially an etherum token (3 years ago) like Moon now, and started its journey to other blockchain solutions just for the same reason. Let’s see if reddit finds an other and better way 🤷♂️
For example, the middle tier scaling solution that is non-custodial and live right now is 4,800 for 1-way transactions like making a payment. Thats the highest TPS of any current live top 100 blockchains.
totally agree until the time some one will figure out how to make it work on the ETH network- was reading just the other day on Matter Labs zkSync - some interesting ideas are now live on their mainnet beta- 200tps will be fun to watch the race to mass adoption evolve- Lets go KIN!!
Reddit Seeks Scaling Solution for Ethereum-Based ‘Community Points’
Do you know any project that discovered the same thing 3 years ago..?
I ve just tested and it tooks more than 1 minute to recieve my earned Moon on r/Cryptocurrency I can’t imagine waiting all this time just to tip someone 😅 u/spez kin is under 10sec/transaction... and looking to migrate to an other blockchain to keep improving this stats.
