RT @prestonjbyrne: Thanks, globalization. You eviscerated our factory towns, wrecked the environment and now your infrastructure has imported a deadly pathogen from abroad to every corner of idyllic and perfect little New England. https://t.co/dsOc2aGwn2

It isn't exactly a super functioning stay-home.. lots of people out and about doing their own thing. There is a noticeable difference in on-road traffic and a lot more families and kids outside doing stuff (probably because literally every school is closed now) but its nothing that will stop community spread from happening and resulting in events like we are seeing in other countries like Italy
I’m in the SF Bay Area it’s literally business as usual here. The order stated that only essential businesses were to stay open and now every business is declaring that they’re an essential business and they get to stay open.... so people are getting their nails done, their new carpet installed, they’re going to the home decor store, the video game store, and then taking all of those germs into the grocery store.
The only businesses that have actually been closed are gyms, schools, and theaters.
Yeah same here but I’m in a small town in the south. But until we have test kits that doesn’t give false positives from lab water or all things we have an unknown amount of either sick people or diagnosed people who dint have covid but just something else... this is a catastrophe the Chinese have unleashed
If you want to look at acreage then yeah, it's not a lot of the country, but since New York and California have the lions share of cities with the highest population density then it is a lot of the country.
Manhattan and Los Angeles are high priority, Casper Wyoming less so
