Just three months ago, a tech project called Tezos raised $232 million online in a wildly successful "initial coin offering," in which new digital currency is parcelled out to buyers. At the time, it was the most money ever raised from the public in the white-hot cryptocurrency sector.
Outright dishonest / non-performing / under performing funded proposals get quite a bit of discussion on the Dash forum and the topic comes up often enough on their subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/776fbf/how_to_evaluate_dash_budget_proposals/
Yeah I was amazed how little time it took from my Ledger Wallet suggestion to actual funding being put to vote and execution! I don't know of any organization that is this efficient. Also the recent zpiv issues were handled so professionally and gracefully with official support etc.
I'm very annoyed at the Tezos team. Besides the current mess, there is the simple fact they raised more than 200 millions $ and they don't bother to even communicate with their investors at all. That kind of speak volumes.
It's up to the foundation, the Breitmans have no say in the matter. Swiss regulators are going to audit the shit out of the foundation, I don't think they will look kindly on their Stiftung model being corrupted..
