Very pleasing to see Ark recognised for its' coding! Though i can't seem to get the same results by filtering for last 30days on https://coincodecap.com .. anyone know if they're measuring the same thing?
Looks like they are using data from this site:
"The number of GitHub events that the project organization / repository generates. This includes code pushes, issues, pull requests, etc."
Although they said Ark is built on the Ethereum platform....need to get their facts straight
Of the few people I've convinced to get just a little invested in crypto, status is the app I suggest to them as a place to move funds out of coinbase. The messenger aspect of it is nice too and I like their team.
That being said, less than 1% of my crypto portfolio is SNT.
It's a nice metric to get an idea of activity, but it's also easy to manipulate and different teams have different coding strategies. Commits doesn't equal addition of quality code. But it helps to include into the overall picture.
agreed. especially for open source projects, there is an incentive to make commits just to show up as an active project. and for token projects, some exchanges use the github activity to decide if its a token worth listing (or not be delisted)
