They're "planning" on bringing BigNum support back for arithmetic opcodes. While that's not a horrible idea by itself, it makes me wonder why they bothered with NUM2BIN/BIN2NUM and the fucked up LSHIFT/RSHIFT implementation. BSV can never match the protocol as it existed (and corrected for bugs) at the genesis block with those in place.
Also makes me wonder - reintroduce a dependency on OpenSSL for BigNum support as Satoshi did or reimplement it? The latter certainly would be entertaining.
